A land so rich and wide
Yet no place to feed and hide
Many seeking for an open door
But blocked with iron gates the more
Some forced to take up gun
Not really for the fun
But to chase life in a wanton valley
All in trying to fill the belly
Becoming fugitives on extra beat
They harass all they meet
Just try being on their way
Soon you’re placed at their bay
Striking fast before it’s late
For fear of losing fate
Never are they in delay
For least their prey do get away
Where is the beauty of the grain?
When it enjoys no good rain
