When the cloud gets angry and restless
No crowd can withhold her assault
You may abolish my acrimony
But can’t abort my aphorism
You may blaspheme my belief
But can’t banish my badinage
You may castigate my coherence
But can’t control my conscience
You may digest my disgust
But can’t defy my dignity
You may exploit my experience
But can’t explicate my empathy
You may forsake my frustrations
But can’t falsify my facts
You may giggle at my glory
But can’t govern my genre
You may humiliate my humility
But can’t harass my honesty
You may impair my image
But can’t inter my integrity
You may jumble my justice
But can’t jeopardize my joy
You may keel over my kindness
But can’t knock down my knowledge
You may lambaste my leniency
But can’t lampoon my livelihood
You may maim my mettle
But can’t manipulate my mentality
You may neglect my needs
But can’t nullify my nobility
You may oppose my opinion
But can’t obverse my objective
You may paint me a pariah
But can’t parade me as a pig
You may quibble at my quietism
But can’t quell my quip
You may rubbish my respect
But an’ ridicule my reasoning
You may squash my status
But can’t stain my soul
You may tempt my thought
But can’t thwart my truism
You may umbrage at my unrest
But can’t undermine my understanding
You may vex my vicissitudes
But can’t violate my virtue
You may wrest my wealth
But can’t weed at my wisdom
You may x-ray my X
But can’t yank at my yesterday
You may yell at my youthfulness
But can’t zero my zest to the zenith
For I am born to overcome!
